The Wörthersee Gravel Race, which takes place on April 12th 2026, is part of the 2026 UCI Gravel World Series calendar and a qualifying race for the 2026 UCI Gravel World Championships. In addition to the competition for professionals and ambitious gravel bikers, recreational off-road bikers can also collect a certificate and medal.

Gralf – the legend

In the deep forests around Lake Wörthersee lived a mischievous creature known as the “Wörtherseemandl Gralf”. This cheeky little fellow threatened the people in the area with capricious pranks unless they paid him tribute. But the brave inhabitants of the region refused to be intimidated and decided to stand up to the Wörtherseemandl.
