    At the event*

    *Changes possible at any time up to the event! 

    Where is the registration located?

    The registration is located at the Gemonaplatz in 9220 Velden am Wörthersee. 

    Can I change my registration on-site?

    The participant can change the selected competition (from Beat Gralf to Catch or Find Gralf or from Catch Gralf to Find Gralf) in the registration on-site. It is not possible to transfer the entry to another person.

    My data is no longer correct – can I change it on-site?

    Yes, you can change the data when you pick up your starting documents at the registration desk. It is not possible to change the participant.

    What do I need to bring with me to the registration?

    You must bring the registration confirmation and a valid personal ID with you to the registration. Registration confirmation and a valid personal ID are mandatory and can only be collected personally.

    When does the registration take place?

    You can find the exact registration opening hours in the event program.

    What do I get at the registration?

    When you are at the registration desk, you will receive a goodie bag and your starting documents. The starting documents include your bib numbers and a Wörthersee Gravel Race wristband. The bib numbers must be fixed according to the instructions. 

    Is there a bike service on-site?

    A basic bike service is available at Gralf’s Expo. If you need a full bike service, please plan enough time. 

    Are there toilets on-site?

    There are toilets both at the start area and in Velden am Wörthersee itself.  

    Are there Feed Zones along the course?

    Yes, there will be 2 Feed Zones along the course.
    Food: bananas, oatmeal bars from Sven Jack
    Drinks: water, cola, iso drink from INFINIT

    Where can I throw away my garbage?

    Garbage can be thrown away 50m before and 50m after the Feed Zones. We ask that you do not throw away any garbage on the course – help us to keep the Wörthersee region clean!

    Are there toilets along the course?

    There are two toilets at each Feed Zone.

    Is medical assistance available?

    Medical support is offered on race day in the start and finish area. Mobile medical support will be on the course.

    Is technical support available?

    Technical support is offered at the 2 Feed Zones.

    Course

    Which courses are available?

    There is one loop course. How many laps you ride depends on the competition you choose. There are three competitions which are Beat Gralf – Catch Gralf – Find Graf. You can find more detailed information on the website under competitions

    How many laps must be completed in the TREK UCI Gravel World Series Race – “Beat Gralf”?

    Depending on the age, different amounts of laps have to be completed. Men over 60 and women over 50 must complete two laps. All age groups below this must complete three laps. In addition, the UCI regulations apply to the TREK UCI Gravel World Series Race. You can find detailed information here

    How many laps must be completed in “Catch Gralf”?

    Everyone is free to complete one or two laps. Everyone makes the decision for themselves. 

    Is the course closed to traffic?

    The course is closed for the Beat Gralf and Catch Gralf competitions. ATTENTION, the road traffic regulations still apply, drive with foresight and expect public traffic or traffic from emergency services at all times. The course will not be closed for Find Gralf

    What is the course like?

    The course is a 48 kilometer loop with an elevation gain of 560 meters. The terrain is 45% gravel and forest soil, with mainly asphalt at the beginning and end. You can find more detailed information about the course here

    Do I have to complete the distance I have registered for on race day?

    The Beat Gralf distances are determined by the UCI Gravel World Championship qualification. However, if fewer laps are completed than necessary, the participant is automatically entered in the Catch Gralf classification and also receives a medal. 

    Time limits

    Is there a time limit?

    Yes, there is a time limit. The cut-off time for the Beat Gralf and Catch Gralf competitions is 16:00. The third or second round must be started by 13:30 at the latest. In the Find Gralf competition, the cut-off time is 17:00. 

    Timing and rankings

    Is there an official timing for the event?

    Yes, there is an official timing for the Beat Gralf and Catch Gralf competitions. There will be no timing for Find Gralf

    Are the rankings evaluated or awarded?

    In the Beat Gralf competition, which is a TREK UCI World Series Race, both the elite and the age groups are evaluated and honored. 

    Where can I find the results?

    The results are published on the homepage.

    Where does the event take place?

    The event takes place in Velden am Wörthersee, Carinthia, Austria. The start is on the western shore of the turquoise-blue Lake Wörthersee – Seecorso 10, 9220 Velden am Wörthersee. 

    When will the event take place?

    The event will take place for the first time on April 7th, 2024.

    Who will take part in the event, and which bikes are allowed?

    Who will take part in the event?

    The event is aimed at passionate gravel bikers as well as amateurs and professionals from all over the world. 

    Which bikes are allowed for the event?

    Gravel bikes, cross bikes and mountain bikes are allowed for the Beat Gralf, Catch Gralf and Find Gralf competitions. It is also possible to take part in Find Gralf on an E-bike. 

    Is there a participant limit? 

    To ensure a high standard of quality, the event is limited. Registration is on a “first-come-first-served” basis. 

    My event registration and accommodation

    I am registered for the event and cannot take part!

    If the Flex Option was booked during registration, the entry can be transferred to the following year. A sale or refund of the entry is excluded.

    I can not find my registration confirmation!

    During the week of the event, each participant will receive another registration confirmation. Here, you will find the start list

    Are there any accommodation recommendations for the event?

    The Official Race Hotel is the 5* Falkensteiner Schlosshotel Velden. There are also partner hotels selected by us. Special offers are available for participants of the Wörthersee Gravel Race in the Official Race Hotel and in the partner hotels.
